I was at the local community garden to do programming with Works-in-Progress and made this video of all the water in different forms- bubbles and on the plants.

In 2015, a grade 6 student at my children's school was a huge fan of Murdoch Mysteries, the CBC show and, after the producer and some of the cast came to an assembly, she sought our help to make a gift "fan fiction" version of the show. We spent about a month meeting after school and this 25 minute video is the result- we visited the set in June 2015 and delivered it to the cast and crew.
every year, CBC puts forward a music challenge for all music classes in Canada, where they all learn one song and sing it together. In 2013, the song was Is Somebody Singing (i.s.s.) written by Chris Hadfield and Ed Robertson from the Barenaked Ladies, and all across Canada students sang along at the same time as Chris Hadfield performed the song in space. In this school, the song took over, everyone was a singing or playing in the halls, at recess at gym... and this group sings the song in three official languages: English, French and American Sign language. On May 6, 2013, after weeks of practice, students were singing it at recess, on field trips and in the halls, and (as this video shows) they joined together to sing it to the skies on May 6th.
